About Unmix Studio

Unmix Studio splits songs into their parts. Upload a song and AI separates it into vocals, drums, bass, guitar, piano and the rest, or takes the vocals out to leave an instrumental or a karaoke track. Every part plays on its own and downloads as an MP3. About ninety more tools go further: single instruments, lead and backing vocals, drum kit pieces, reverb and noise removal.

Singers who want a backing track, musicians learning a part by ear, producers and DJs making remixes, teachers, and video editors who need music without the voice.

How it works

The separation runs on established open models (BS-RoFormer, MDX23C, SCNet and others). Converting audio to MIDI runs in your own browser with Spotify's open-source Basic Pitch model and is free. Unmix Studio is an independent product, not affiliated with the makers of these models.

Paying and your files

Splitting uses credits: most tools use 1 credit per minute of song, and the price shows on the button before anything runs. New accounts get 5 free credits to try it; more come in one-time packs on the pricing page. Your songs and their parts are kept for 30 days, then deleted. See the privacy policy for the details.
